It is the shared values, attributes, and characteristics of an organization; and in many cases can be a main contributing factor why an individual joins, or leaves, a company. The Labor Department noted that more than 4.5 million people voluntarily left their jobs in November 2021; so now it might be as important as ever to focus on your company’s culture.

How do you determine your company culture?

• Review mission and vision statements, or marketing materials that convey your company’s self-identity
• Conduct a survey
• Interview a cross-section of employees and leaders about the work environment
